If you're on a special diet or just looking to get healthy, Snap has something for you. They make it easy with cute little icons in front of each item to be sure you're getting what you need. Everything in the store is gluten-free, except for the pita chips which I hear are really good. Some of the diets included on the Snap menu are paleo, vegetarian and low-carb.
With the juice craze sweeping the nation, Snap is the perfect place to pick up a super-fresh, cold-pressed juice to boost your energy. It's a convenient way to get your nutrients for the day. The "Super Greens" juice has 5 cups of vegetables. I tried the "Energy Boost" juice with watermelon, lime and papaya. Yum!
Snap started in 2010 in Austin. At this time, Snap Kitchen is located in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. The 3 Dallas locations are Uptown, Preston-Royal, and of course, Snider Plaza across from SMU. I'm so glad there's finally a place to get healthy food in a Snap!
SMU students are invited to join Snap Kitchen at its Snider Plaza location this Wednesday October 15 from 3-5pm for Snappy Hour! Find out more info on the Tweet below:
