The Pin Show 2013

The Pin Show is one of the biggest events of the year in Dallas.  Twenty independent designers showcased their collections on the runway. The clothes were stunning and so different.  Some of the trends featured were beautiful hats, little black dresses, classic evening-wear, and edgy daytime-wear.  Hair by Tangerine Salon was another cool part of show. 

Wherever there's fashion, there's always a party.  I ran into a lot of my fashion friends while at this high-profile event.  Local stars were to be found everywhere at The Pin Show.  Lisa Petty, editor of DFW Style Daily, introduced me to jewelry designer Dora Yim.  I viewed the runway show next to my little brother Grant, Isabel Morales the Style Geek, and my new friend Megan Carradine.  I also ran into owner of Wallflower Management Tammy Theis, blogger Cynthia Smoot, and Kristi and Scot Redman of D Magazine. 

This was my first time at The Pin Show and I'm sure it won't be my last!
