It all started with red Maestro lipstick 401 at a luncheon to celebrate the new Giorgio Armani Maestro collection, to a newly discovered fascination with the Armani brand. Coming from a Chanel-lover, this is a huge step... after all, my loyalty has been compromised. It's bad enough that I am cheating on Chanel with Balenciaga's Florabotanica and now a complete conversion to Armani - this is just too much to grasp!

Yes, I love the red but more so I adore the Armani formula. I am a girl who often forgets about lipstick, but Maestro is awesome as I rarely have to re-apply. On my next beauty shopping trip, I am dying to get their 500 color for daily use.

Another of my new discoveries during the Armani lunch was that I actually am okay with foundation, I just never found a right one! It has been years since I've used cover-up, the cake-y thoughts always haunted me so I stayed away. Armani's make-up maestro Antonio Costa convinced me to try the new Maestro Complexion Perfector. It has been three weeks and I am still using the perfector. I've absolutely loved these two products and look forward to experimenting with more!
